The expansion pack itself is pretty good. It opens up new profession paths. I wasn't crazy about it only being available as a digital download.

UPDATE: EA has corrected the issue of missing patches. However, I still highly suggest downloading and saving patches just to be safe. In a concerning turn of events, BluebellFlora‏ has noticed that EA has removed the manual patches (digital) for Sims 3 mac users from their servers.

I had some installation issues that I haven't had with the disks. I had Supernatural and Into the Future already installed and the platform has been unstable since I installed Ambitions. I will probably delete all of the expansions and install them in order to correct that. So if you are getting this one and already have later expansion packs installed, you probably should do that off that bat. Everyone raved about the Ambitions Expansion and I must say it is just ok. It is not what I thought it would be.

Some of the features are good for example I can now have my sim do certain things while at work. Overall it is an ok expansion.

I do enjoy playing TS3. I love the option to download from Walmart. Definitely a dollar cheaper and the downloading wasn't so bad.

If you want to download The Sims games you must download origin and from there you can download it. It didn't take long but of course it depends on your internet speed. My granddaughter loves it. My only gripe is I was not told it was a down load so when I saw it on my e mail I didn't know what it was so I deleted it.

I thought I was getting a hard copy so when they said it was sent I had to call and ask where it was sent to and that is when they told me it was sent by e mail and they had to send it again and my granddaughter had to down load it to her compute. Good thing we are both on the same computer or I don't know how we would have gotten the down.lt was Kinda hard to understand directions but she go it done after about a half hour.
